My sight loss is caused by Cerebral Palsy which affects the optic nerve. I have some useful sight but find it difficult to see things in the distance in detail so I cannot read a numberplate at 50 metres for example.
At the moment I don’t have a job, but would love to go back to work when I can find a role that suits me. My passion is using my telescopes to help me see what others can in the far distance. I have three telescopes and make good use of them, and I always have one in my bag together with my monocular.
I am keen to put my life experience to use and be part of the Forum and bring my point of view to help others with sight loss.
