Corporate Partnership

Your business can enable us to help more people who are blind or visually impaired in Devon to live life to the full

Sir Richard Branson: “Business can be a force for good…” or … to paraphrase him: “doing good, is good business”.

Being able to demonstrate a positive attitude towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an important factor in attracting new custom in today’s increasingly competitive business environment.

As a result many companies are now affiliating themselves, through partnerships with the valuable work of local charities. Devon in Sight is offering you an opportunity to raise your company’s profile in the region by supporting our vital work in the community and contributing to the well-being of the many thousands of people affected by sight loss in Devon.

What is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)?

The World Business Council for Sustainable Development in its publication Making Good Business Sense by Lord Holme and Richard Watts, used the following definition.

Corporate Social Responsibility is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large.

How your company can get involved?

From volunteering knowledge, time or services, marketing initiatives and events to making us your charity of the year, there are plenty of ways for you and your company to support us.

What would your corporate partnership mean to Devon in Sight?

Your support would help us to:

  • Increase income for our charitable activities
  • Raise awareness of our cause
  • Enhance our reputation and brand
  • Extend our networks and channels of communication
  • Attract positive PR
  • … and, most importantly… enable us to help more visually impaired people throughout Devon.
