Board of Trustees
The Trustees are recruited to support the Chief Executive Officer with the leadership of the organisation. They are enlisted for their skills and experience to ensure that Devon in Sight has the best people in place to oversee and ensure the future direction of the service and implementation of its strategic objectives.
The Board of Trustees oversee:
- The strategic direction of the service
- Fundraising strategy and resource development
- Business and financial planning
- Quality and performance standards of all our services
- Legal compliance within Charity and Company Law
- Promotion of the Service

Dr Adrian Jacobs
The role of the chair is to chair meetings of the trustee board, leading on the development of the board and ensuring its decisions are implemented.
Scott Bailey
Providing support to the Chair and to the Board of Trustees to enable the Board to fulfil their responsibilities for the overall governance and strategic direction of the organisation.
Mr Steve Muncer
Responsible for supporting the financial operation and structures of the organisation, maintaining accurate financial records, policies, and procedures.
Paul Hannan
Our Designated Board Safeguarding Lead and shares ultimate responsibility for governing the charity and directing how it is managed and run.
Dr Dave Adams
Our Optometry Lead and shares ultimate responsibility for governing the charity and directing how it is managed and run.
Marilyn Minter – Newson
