On Saturday the 7th December some sixty Volunteers, Clients and invited guests including Grahame Flynn (Operations Manager), Peter Wareham (Chairman) and Chris Sumner (Trustee) met at the St Matthias Church Centre in Torquay for a Christmas Get Together and Celebration of the Volunteer Visiting Service being operational in Torbay for 5 years.
Certificates were presented to those volunteers who had been with the Charity for 4 and 5 years by Chairman Peter Wareham. The Charity really appreciates that these volunteers give the most precious gift they can to us which is their time. This is a gift that we can never get back and this is very much appreciated.
Service co-ordinator Cherrie Crook said, “It was lovely for me in particular to just see everyone enjoying the afternoon together and the feedback is that everyone had a really lovely time”.
