RNIB has launched a new campaign

RNIB has launched a new campaign to highlight the risks being posed to social care and rehabilitation services for blind and partially sighted people.

Their latest research has shown that many local councils are cutting back on funding and support for blind and partially sighted people or considering doing so, often linked to pressures on local budgets and proposals to integrate health and social care.

They are asking blind and partially sighted people and their friends and colleagues to help them to highlight their concerns about the impact of changes by writing to their local councillor and local newspaper. They are also asking people to help us get a better understanding of the situation across the country by completing an online survey.
