Dr Dave Adams was co-opted to the Devon in Sight Board in July 2023.
Dave spent over 37 years working in Hospital Optometry having trained at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London before moving to the Royal Eye Infirmary at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.
He is former Chair of the Devon Local Optical Committee having been a member for over 25 years. He is Honorary Associate Professor at Plymouth University, has a PGCert in Organisational Leadership and is a part-time University lecturer. He has been a regular speaker at local VI support groups including Plymouth VIP, and West Devon and Liskeard Macular Societies.
Dave says, “Having recently retired I am delighted to have been invited to join the Devon in Sight Board. I look forward to helping Devon in Sight building stronger links with our local Eye Health Professionals.”
