A Big Thank you to all our of Volunteers

Although the coronavirus pandemic has stopped many of the things we would usually do, it shouldn’t stop us from saying …

Thank you

This week is Volunteers’ Week, the annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering. At Devon in Sight were are so lucky to have a number of volunteers who support us at head office and in the community. There are so many of you who give your time and energy to support the work of the charity. We couldn’t do it without you!

It was our hope that we would be able to bring everyone together this year for a 95th Anniversary Celebration. Sadly, the COVID-19 crisis has stopped such plans.

However, on behalf of all the people in Devon who are blind or partially sighted, their family, carers and friends, and of course the staff team I would like to extend a hearty thanks for your on-going support during this challenging time.

Volunteers are not paid... Not because they are worthless but because they are priceless
