Legacies

A gift in your will can help hundreds of people who are blind or partially sighted live life to the full.

Making a will is vital if you want to be certain that your wishes are met after you die.

A will is the only way to make sure your money, property, possessions and investments (known as your estate) go to the people and causes that you care about.

What do legacies enable us to do?

There are so many ways your gift can help us to continue to change lives and make a huge difference to people who are blind or partially sighted and to help them to live life to the full.

Your gift will help:

  • Support our network of Talk and Support Groups across the county of Devon. These offer our clients the opportunity to share their experiences and listen to a selection of guest speakers from community groups, partner organisations, and Low Vision Aids and Daily Living Equipment suppliers.
  • Deliver our award winning Sight Loss MOT (Holistic Needs Assessment) at someone's home. The MOT helps us identify the services, support and training that will help them live life to the full.
  • Provide an Information, Advice and Guidance session with a Sight Loss Adviser through our Helpline.
