The initial meeting of the Mid Devon book club for the visually impaired met in ‘The Hayridge Library’ Cullompton on Wednesday 29th Jan. There was a good turnout of interested people with a wide diverse taste in books who are going to bring suggestions of authors and book titles to the next meeting. It was agreed to meet on a monthly basis at the Library and Karen from The Hayridge has very kindly agreed to lead the group. Books in CD, Playaways, Large Print and ebooks format will all be used by the book club members. It was a lovely atmosphere with people who genuinely have a love of books. We would like to thank the Hayridge Library for hosting and leading this event.
