Abigail is fundraising for Devon In Sight in memory of her good friend Chris who passed away last year.
Her challenge is to climb to the top of Snowdon blindfolded (obviously with the help of three good friends) and then hopefully get the train back down after a cup of tea!
The reason Abigail is doing this challenge blindfolded is because, in his later years Chris completely lost his sight. Abbie is intending to experience this challenge in the same way Chris had to deal with life. Abbie has already completed two practice walks with her guides. She plans the main event to take place on Thursday 14th April (subject to any Covid restrictions or inclement weather).
The money raised will be going to Devon in Sight in memory of Chris.
