The splendour of St Margaret’s Church, Topsham had added colour and perfume today.
It was the first day of the annual and much anticipated Topsham Flower Festival, held in the charming church in the centre of the town.
The myriad of creations are laid on by local organisations, individuals enthusiasts and traders in Topsham.
They included fresh and dried flowers assembled in all manner of shapes – The theme for this years festival is Memories.
Admission is free and refreshments available, all the money raised goes to local Charities.
Devon in Sight would like to thank Barrie Goodfellow MBE for exibiting his artwork ‘Memories of a Legend’ in the Flower Festival on behalf of Devon in Sight.
His artwork was dedicated to Elizabeth Hubbick a former Trustee of Devon in Sight and enabled people to leave a message on the tree in memory of Elizabeth.
Elizabeth was very well known in Topsham with her work for the Topsham Society and also her long association with Guide Dogs and Devon in Sight.
