New Sight Loss Hub in Cullompton

Devon in Sight CEO Grahame Flynn was delighted to talk to a group of Volunteers and Clients at the Hayridge Library in Cullompton on Thursday 23 February about the new Community Support Service which Devon in Sight is trailing across the county at a number of Community Sight Loss Hubs. He was joined by Sight Loss adviser Nanette Bolton, and new staff members Cathy Duffy and Tracey Agutter.

Grahame talked about the introduction of Devon in Sight’s new Sight Loss MOT which responds to the objectives of the national  ‘Seeing it My Way’ Framework. The MOT will help the Devon in Sight team to identify ways in which they can help people adjust to their sight loss.

Grahame said, “Devon in Sight is leading the way with a new cost effective holistic model of support for people with sight loss. Our new Community Support service will shortly start operating across Torbay, Mid, East and West Devon”.
