Staff from Devon in Sight qualified in their Emergency First Aid at Work course at the St John Ambulance training centre in Exeter.
The course covered the role of the first aider, managing an emergency, communication and casualty care, bleeding, burns, chocking, fainting, Resuscitation, seizures, shock and treatment of an unconscious casualty.
Operations Manager Grahame Flynn said, “St John’s trainer Melanie was very engaging and it was a great opportunity for the staff team to spend some time together. We never know when an emergency will happen but this training helps give us the confidence to dealing with an incident.”
