At the talk and support group in Okehampton on Friday 9th August, members received a very interesting and useful presentation from staff of Santander Bank. The subject was telephone and online scamming. It was an interactive talk including role plays informing members about how to spot a scam and also, preventative measures that can be taken.
In this lighthearted way, we were all able to learn something which could be crucial to our financial and personal safety.
On Thursday September 19th 2019, the Tavistock talk and Support Group will be receiving the same talk so I would encourage clients and carers to come along. It may be of more benefit than you realise!
