This service is all online but the local shops/pharmacy etc.have joined up and you can go online and place an order and shops deliver to the local hub then the volunteers will distribute.

Age UK Mid Devon offers support for older people and their carers. - available by phone
We are offering:
- telephone befriending/checking in service,
- practical support for self-isolating,
- information and advice,
- benefit support for clients over pensionable age - including telephone appointments to complete Attendance Allowance forms

Foodbank
The foodbank is still operating and offers help to Mid Devon residents who find themselves in need.
There are many different reasons you may need to call us:
- Unexpected change of circumstances
- Isolation and unable to get food any other way
- Universal Credit delay/changeover
- Priority debts to be paid

People Matter is a group at St Andrew’s Church which organises the food bank and serves Cullompton and the surrounding villages of Willand, Uffculme, Bradninch and Kentisbeare. If you, or someone you know, are experiencing hardship which makes it hard to afford food, please contact:

Exeter Community Energy
They provide fuel poverty and energy advice services across Mid Devon. They are offering a telephone support service for any resident having difficulty with energy suppliers, or heating issues. They have a huge network of support around us and can help to sign post people to the right services.

INVOLVE – Voluntary Action in Mid Devon
Involve will be liaising with local community groups across Mid Devon to help them with volunteering through good practice and brokering support.

They are operating a telephone befriending system to ensure their most vulnerable are not completely isolated and are able to get the essentials they need to stay in their own homes.
